The Ready Store, like most American dreams, started with a great idea and continued to grow with hard work and ingenuity.

From our modest beginnings in a basement, Ready Store has grown into the world leader for emergency preparedness and food storage. We have strived from the beginning to bring you quality products at the lowest prices possible. We've tried to be as transparent as possible, helping you make the best decisions possible for you and your family.

2002

Being prepared has always been a priority for Jeff and Amy Davis, founders of Ready Store. They prepared with food storage and 72-hour kits as a family and wanted to offer that same assurance to others.

The Davises started selling their own family's emergency kits online. The demand was so high that they started buying more of the same supplies that they had used for their family's kits and assembling emergency bags in the basement of their home to sell.

2003

The business quickly grew and Jeff and Amy began offering new products like Military MRE Meals. They hired a few friends and family members to help with putting the kits together.

2004

The family's basement soon wasn't big enough. The company moved into a new 1,200 square warehouse in Provo, Utah, to accommodate for the quick growth.

2005

The Ready Store began a partnership with Mountain House freeze dried food. We began by offering pouched meals for 72-hour kits and cans of long-term food storage. Ready Store has since grown into one of the nation's largest Mountain House distributors, building a lasting and trusting relationship with the company.

2005

We moved locations from Provo, Utah, to nearby Bluffdale, Utah. The new facility offered 3,500 square feet of storage and a state-of-the-art production facility.

2005

We printed our first catalog! Since we started the Ready Store catalog, we've mailed dozens of editions to millions of homes across the United States.

2006

The Ready Store, initially a store within SaratogaTradingCompany.com, launched as an independent website.

2008

We just keep moving up! This time it wasn't too far though. We moved from a 3,500 square foot warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah; across the street to an 11,000 square foot facility.

2008

The Ready Store introduced a new line of food storage with Saratoga Farms. We joined our years of food storage expertise into a single, product line that revolutionized the industry. Since its introduction, Saratoga Farms has grown to be one of the world's leading food storage products.

2009

The Ready Store blog is born! Since 2009, the blog has been a leader in survivalist how-to articles; answering questions about food storage, MREs and more. We want to make food storage and emergency preparedness easy for you and the blog has helped us pass our knowledge along.

2010

We moved again! The Ready Store purchased a new larger warehouse in Draper, Utah. We upgraded from 11,000 square feet of space to 19,000 square feet of space.

2011

Saratoga Farms got a new look and feel. The new labels helped customers get information quickly and easily. Since we started, we've always tried to make food storage easy and this was one of the ways that we've done that.

2012

The Ready Store website got a new look and feel with easier to navigate menues and search features.

2013

The Ready Store begins offering EasyPrep food storage. These buckets of food storage revolutionized the way people prepared. Each bucket is a 1-month food supply making it easy to determine how much food storage you actually need.

2014

Ready Store continued to grow in popularity with new partnerships with companies like Costco Wholesale, Amazon, Overstock and Sears.

2015

We launched a new website with cutting-edge features and mobile website abilities. Customers can now enjoy the same great service on tablets and mobile devices.

2016

We launched a great tool - the ReadyQ! This budgeting and planning tool is free to all of our customers and helps you add the products you want to a wishlist, then set a budget and auto-ship the products you wanted to your home. And the best part, is that it's fully customized to your needs! It's what you want, when you want it.

2017

The Ready Store launched another helpful feature! This time, it's a customer loyalty program called ReadyCLUB! Loyal customers get 2% cash back, plus free shipping on all orders for an entire year! What a great way to save!
